20 Questions

image

As some of you may know according to my last post, I was nominated for The Liebster Award. Which I was very honored by. However for those of you who don’t know; when you are nominated you have to answer a series of questions asked by the person who nominated you. The questions that (oneuniqueblog) asked me were pretty simple, but I found myself sweating over the answers to these simple questions about me. So, in honor of my realizing how little I know about myself due to the marvelous questionnaire, I thought I would pose some questions to my blog family just to see how well you know yourself.

My questions are as follows:

1. What is your favorite color?
2. What is the most interesting thing about you?
3. What is the most attractive thing about you?
4. What are you most afraid of?
5. Would you consider yourself a good role model? (Why/why not)
6. Can you take a compliment, if not, why not?
7. What about yourself are you most proud of?
8. What is the kindest thing you have ever done for someone?
9. What makes you unique?
10. Do you think you are a good person, why/why not?

For me, it was much harder to answer the questions that I felt caused me to compliment myself. I was afraid of coming off cocky. I didn’t want people to think I was full of myself. For example; if you were in a room full of people and an instructor says come write on the board your best facial feature and why? Would you feel anxiety? I would feel like if i wrote my eyes. When i turned around everyone would start judging my eyes, offering up their best criticism. I think this is why some people have a hard time complimenting theirselves. Since whatever we announce to the world that we love about ourselves, that thing becomes the forefront of criticism. Anyhow feel free to leave your answers in a comment..

Thanks fam!!

  1. I would honestly have a tough time answering those questions honestly. They actually make me question myself like am I kind? Am I unique? I don’t even know my favorite color. It changes with the day I think I am a good person but sometimes I do and say bad things. I am terrified if spiders and being unhappy, feeling worthless. I can take a compliment but it is not easy. I am unique because I have my own mind and own perspective on most things. I am most proud that I am not afraid to speak my mind and really stand up for what I think is important. Great questions 🙂 Hard answers!

  2. It can be difficult to answer questions about yourself, I agree, we think we sound cocky. But we are who we are so why not enjoy it? 🙂
    1. I love any bright color, but if I had to narrow it down to one, it would be purple
    2. Hmmmm…. well, I think I have a quit wit. I wanted to be a stand up comic when I was young, but ya have to be funny for that
    3. Ever since I was a little girl people would compliment my eyes and my dimples. I would have to go with eyes.
    4. I am most afraid of rejection
    5. Yes, I would consider myself a good role model, because my role model is Jesus and I try to be like HIm, not always successful, but I try
    6. I have learned to take a compliment with a simple “thank you”
    7. I am a warrior, I have been knocked down and had to start over so many times, but I keep getting back up
    8. I love being kind and doing things for people. Once when I was on a business trip I took a day and packed lunches and went out and fed the homeless and loved on them. I think I got the blessing more than they did.
    9. Unique? I don’t know. Maybe that I can find the positive and humorous in most situations.
    10. No, I am not a good person, but because I know Jesus, I am good when I allow Him to shine through me. The real me is selfish and scared. With Him I am generous and brave.
